Jeep Compass, Meridian Club Edition Launched At Rs 20.99 Lakh in India
The Jeep Compass and Meridian SUVs' new Club Edition models have been launched in India. The availability of both Club Edition versions is limited in numbers, and their prices are applicable only till February 28.
Jeep India has launched the Club Edition variants of the Compass and the Meridian. The SUVs cost Rs 20.99 lakh and Rs 27.75 lakh, respectively (all prices, ex-showroom). Both models are available in this special edition in limited numbers and will be for sale at these prices until February 28, 2023. The base trims of these SUVs, Sport for the Jeep Compass and Limited for the Jeep Meridian, serve as the foundation for the Club Edition versions of both vehicles. These Club Edition models cost lower than their base versions. As for the updates, the SUVs have only received a distinctive sticker on the hood and a "Club Edition" emblem on the tailgate. The feature list and technical details of these SUVs haven't altered much aside from these cosmetic modifications.

Coming to the powertrain, the Compass Club Edition comes equipped with a 1.4-litre turbocharged petrol unit that delivers a maximum power output of 160bhp and 250Nm of peak torque. This engine comes paired with a 6-speed manual transmission. However, the top-spec versions of the model include a 7-speed DCT. The Jeep Meridian, on the other hand, is fitted with a 2.0-litre, four-cylinder multijet diesel engine, paired with a 6-speed manual transmission, that offers 167bhp and 350Nm. A 9-speed AT and AWD drivetrain are available with the top-spec versions.
The feature list of the Club Edition models is the same as their standard variants. Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, an 8.4-inch touchscreen infotainment system, 17-inch alloy wheels, LED headlamps, dual airbags, ESC, and more, are still included in the Compass Club Edition model. The Meridian Club Edition model also continues with automatic LED projector headlamps, 18-inch wheels, wireless charging, a 10.1-inch touchscreen infotainment system, a 7.0-inch digital instrument cluster, dual-zone air conditioning, and more.
