Maserati GT2 Stradale Marks World Debut at Monterey Car Week 2024; Boasts 0-100km/h in 2.8 Seconds
Maserati has revealed the track-ready GT2 Stradale at Monterey Car Week 2024 in California. Even though the Maserati GT2 Stradale's 3.0-litre V6 "Nettuno" engine is the same, it now produces about 640bhp of maximum power, about 10bhp more than the GT2 designated for the racetrack.
At the 2024 Monterey Car Week in California, Maserati revealed the track-ready GT2 Stradale. The vehicle was displayed with Maserati's track-only MCXtrema and its recently launched MC20 Icona in North America. The Maserati GT2 Stradale, which debuted in July 2023, is essentially the road-legal variant of the GT2. It receives several modifications to reduce weight and increase power output from the Nettuno V6 engine. The starting price of the new Maserati car is still under wraps, but it will undoubtedly fall between the USD 242,995 (about Rs 2.04 crore) starting price of the MC20 and USD 522,000 (roughly Rs 4.37 crore), which is the price of the track-day version of the GT2.

Maserati GT2 Stradale: Cosmetic Front
In terms of appearance, the GT2 Stradale's design is noticeably more subdued than that of its track-only sibling, the GT2. The aggressive racing-inspired graphics of the latter have been dropped from the Stradale, which also receives a revised front bumper designed to enhance cooling and airflow compared to the standard GT2. The Italian luxury manufacturer has improved the car's aerodynamics to the point that it produces 500 kg of downforce. It has multiple carbon fibre components that aid in weight reduction and shares the GT2's adjustable rear wing. Similar side vents are also located close to the C-pillar on the Stradale. Maserati added a racing diffuser at the back of the vehicle.
Maserati GT2 Stradale: Mechanical Core
Even though the Stradale's 3.0-litre V6 "Nettuno" engine is the same, it now produces about 640bhp of maximum power, which is about 10bhp more than the GT2 designated for the racetrack. What's more amazing, though, is that the Stradale weighs 60 kg less than the MC20 thanks to some important enhancements. With a top speed of 324km/h, the supercar can go from the 0 to 100km/h race in an impressive 2.8 seconds. Maserati GT2 Stradale: Interior
The GT2 Stradale's interior, like the rest of the vehicle, is designed to sit in between the MC20 and the GT2. To reduce glare and focus on driving, the cabin surfaces are finished in a dark shade. There are amenities like a drive-mode knob, a digital instruments cluster, lightweight carbon-fibre racing seats (available in two sizes), four-point seatbelts, carbon fibre paddle shifters, a drive button, a reverse button, a sports steering wheel, a rectangular infotainment screen, and a volume knob.
To add more thrill and enable a unique drive mode, there are two performance packages. Based on the race vehicle, the Corsa Evo mode offers four different levels that let you get more and more fierce. Semi-slick Michelin tyres, carbon ceramic brakes, an electronic limited-slip differential with customised calibrations, and specific ESC, MSP, and ABS calibrations are all included in the standard Performance Package. In addition to the components mentioned, the Performance Pack Plus includes a fire extinguisher and four-point seatbelts.
