MG Gloster Desertstorm, Snowstorm Launched in India with Cosmetic Updates, Priced at Rs 41.05 Lakh
MG has introduced two new versions of the Gloster SUV in India: Desertstorm and Snowstorm. Both models are priced at 41.05 lakh (ex-showroom).
MG has launched the Storm series of its Gloster SUV in India, including the Desertstorm and Snowstorm variants, priced at Rs 41.05 lakh (ex-showroom), respectively. Notably, the 6/7-seat SUV range in India begins at Rs 38.80 lakh (ex-showroom). Similar to the Blackstorm model, the new variants get numerous cosmetic and interior upgrades. The Gloster Desertstorm has a Deep Golden exterior colour scheme with an all-black grille, alloy wheels, ORVMs, door handles, roof rails, pillars, and a spoiler. Its design is further enhanced by red headlight inserts and brake callipers. The interior of the new edition is all-black, including the steering wheel, giving it a distinct appearance. MG Gloster Snowstorm: What's Cosmetically Changed?
The MG Gloster Snowstorm has a dual-tone Pearl White and Black paint job. Its bumpers (front and rear) have red inserts, whereas the grille, wheels, spoiler, door handles, ORVMs with a red insert, window surrounds, and fog lamp garnish are all now shining black. In addition, the SUV's taillights feature a smoked appearance. Inside, the new variant has black seats and a steering wheel with white stitching.
MG Desertstorm, Snowstorm: Mechanical Specs and Other Highlights
A variety of dealer-level additional amenities, such as JBL speakers, dashboard mats, themed carpet mats, seat massagers, and 'Desertstorm" and 'Snowstorm' badges, are offered with the Gloster Desertstorm and the Snowstorm. While the Snowstorm is only offered in a 7-seater configuration, the Gloster Desertstorm is available in both 6- and 7-seater versions.
The Gloster SUV has two engine options: a 2.0-litre diesel and a 2.0-litre twin-turbo diesel. The former generates 161bhp and 375Nm, while the latter produces 215bhp and 480Nm with the 8-speed automatic transmission. The vehicle is available in 2WD and 4WD configurations. Notably, the new variants have the same mechanical specs. They also continue to feature a 12-way power-adjustable driver seat with massage and ventilation functions, a dual panoramic sunroof, wireless charging, and advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS).
