MG Hector Snowstorm: Exterior, Interior
Outside, the Snowstorm edition features a Pristine White shade with a contrasting black finish on the pillars, roof rails, and 18-inch alloy wheels. There are also some dark chrome accents around the vehicle. Other noticeable bits include smoked-out taillamps and red highlights around the rear bumper, headlight surrounds, and fog lamp housings. Even the brake callipers are finished in red.
On the inside, the Snowstorm offers an all-black theme with gunmetal grey trim inserts on the centre console, door handles, and steering wheel. Plus, there is a Snowstorm badging embossed on the front seat headrests. Other than that, the features list remains the same as the Sharp Plus variant. These include a 14-inch touchscreen infotainment system, a panoramic sunroof, automatic climate control, ventilated front seats, connected car tech, and a wireless phone charger. Also up for offer is an optional accessory package.
2024 Astor Blackstorm Edition: What's Changed?
Alongside the new MG Hector Snowstorm, MG has updated the Astor Blackstorm Edition for the 2024 model year. As opposed to the previous Blackstorm Edition based on the higher-spec variant, the updated Astor Blackstorm is based on the Select variant of the Astor. The 2024 version is priced from Rs 13.45 lakh for the petrol-MT to Rs 14.46 lakh for the petrol-CVT. The prices are ex-showroom.
Though the 2024 Astor Blackstorm still gets an all-black exterior, it offers red inserts across its body, creating a contrasting look. Rounding off the changes are the blacked-out badges. An all-black treatment continues on the inside too. The updated model features an all-black dashboard with red accents around the AC vents. There is also red stitching on the door trims and steering wheel. Like before, the model gets Tuxedo Black seat upholstery but with the Blackstorm embossed on the front seat headrests. Another update is in the form of a JBL sound system, available as an optional extra.
