Design
Jeep has made subtle yet noticeable modifications to the Meridian's front appearance with chrome studs on the honeycomb mesh of the well-known seven-slat grille. However, the full LED headlamps remain, and the style of the 18-inch wheels is similar to that of the pre-facelifted Overland model.
Interior
Inside, the colour schemes of the upholstery have altered, but the design is still the same. For instance, the Limited (O) trim has a black and beige theme, whereas the Longitude and Longitude Plus trims have a black and grey colour scheme. The top-spec Overland variant, in contrast, has a tupelo and black shade. The SUV is available in two seating configurations: five and seven. Notably, the standard Longitude version is only available with a 5-seat arrangement.
Convenience
Features-wise, the 10.2-inch digital instrument cluster is exclusive to the Limited (O) and Overland models, however, the freestanding 10.1-inch touchscreen infotainment device is standard. Moreover, the instrument cluster on the Longitude and Longitude Plus trims is semi-digital. The SUV is equipped with wireless charging, a nine-speaker Alpine sound system, and the Uconnect suite of linked capabilities, which now includes over 30 features. It offers disc brakes on all wheels, six airbags as standard, and a panoramic sunroof starting with the Longitude Plus model.
Safety
The Jeep Meridian's top-spec Overland variant includes ADAS, which is a front radar and camera-based system. It has a full array of safety technologies, intelligent speed assistance, lane departure warning and lane keep assist, adaptive cruise control with stop and go, and traffic sign recognition.

Under The Hood

This setup can be mated to either a 6-speed manual transmission or a 9-speed automatic torque converter unit. Additionally, the 4x2 and 4x4 versions are still available.
