Kia has revealed its facelifted Carnival MPV for the Indian market. While Kia will launch the updated MPV on October 3, bookings for the model are now open for a token amount of Rs 2 lakh. As part of the updates, the fourth-generation Kia Carnival receives a freshly designed exterior, a premium dashboard design, and additional features.
To begin with, the Kia Carnival facelift has a revised front fascia characterised by a bigger tiger-nose grille and vertically stacked LED headlamps with 'Star Map' LED running lamps. While the new MPV carries over the feature of power-sliding doors from the previous-generation model, it offers a set of redesigned 18-inch alloy wheels along the sides as well as connected LED taillamps at the back. At launch, the upcoming Carnival will be offered in two variants (Limousine and Limousine Plus) and a single seating configuration (7-seat).

The Kia Carnival facelift will likely be brought to our shores through a CBU (completely built unit) route, with local assembly planned for a later date. As a full import, the updated MPV could be positioned in the range of Rs 32 lakh to Rs 40 lakh (ex-showroom). Upon arrival, the new Carnival will have no direct rivals but will serve as an alternative to the Toyota Innova Hycross.
