Porsche has revealed the new Taycan GTS globally, showcasing significant upgrades and a boost in power. The latest GTS variant now delivers an impressive 690bhp, marking a 93bhp increase over its predecessor. This enhancement translates to impressive acceleration, with the new Taycan GTS capable of reaching 100km/h in just 3.1 seconds, 0.4 seconds faster than before. Along with the power upgrade, the Taycan GTS features refined handling and performance improvements, solidifying its place as a more dynamic and exciting model in Porsche’s electric lineup. According to the brand, the new Taycan GTS promises thrilling driving experiences, combining impressive speed, cutting-edge technology, and Porsche’s signature performance engineering in a stylish electric package.
New Porsche Taycan GTS: Performance
Previously, the Taycan base sedan came with a single rear-mounted electric motor, generating between 402bhp and 429bhp. However, it can now be equipped similarly to the Taycan 4 Cross Turismo, adding all-wheel drive and a second motor for the front axle. While the front motor does not increase the Taycan 4's power output, it does improve acceleration, shaving 0.1 seconds off the 0-100km/h time, which now stands at 4.4 seconds, according to the German manufacturer. When conditions allow, the front motor disconnects to optimise efficiency.

Both the sedan and Sport Turismo versions can now reach from 0 to 100km/h in just 3.1 seconds, 0.4 seconds quicker than before.
