Porsche 911 S/T Launched in India at Rs 4.26 Crore
The Porsche 911 S/T has improved aerodynamics to enhance the car's handling on everyday roads. Special shore blue metallic paint with gold writing is included with the Heritage Design Package, evoking the look of the 911 S racer from the 1960s.
Porsche has launched its 911 S/T in India for Rs 4.26 Crore (ex-showroom). With this launch, Porsche introduces its most expensive 911 model in India to date. As part of the sports car's 60th anniversary, Porsche unveiled the 911 S/T earlier this month, and production will be limited to only 1,963 examples. The limited-edition 911 S/T is powered by a flat-six petrol engine shared with the 911 GT3 RS, known for its high revs. The S/T also has a lightweight clutch and a short-ratio manual powertrain. Porsche's latest 911 S/T is the company's tribute to the classic 911 S from 1969. The Porsche 911 GT3 RS and the GT3 Touring both provided inspiration for the anniversary edition, which aims to combine aggressive performance and agile handling.
Porsche 911 S/T: Exterior
The 911 S/T gets design cues from the racing 911 S in the late 1960s. There is a Gurney flap on the extended rear spoiler of the anniversary model, increasing downforce, and there are 20-inch and 21-inch centre-locking magnesium wheels up front and in the back, respectively. A lightweight sports exhaust system alongside full bucket seats made of carbon fibre reinforced plastic (CFRP) are also standard equipment. The 911 S/T, Porsche claims, has aerodynamics tuned for the street rather than the track. Additionally, a Heritage Design Package is available, which has the same Shoreblue Metallic paint and racing stripes as the 911 S.

Porsche 911 S/T: Interior
Its classic leather-cloth seats, optional Cognac-colored interior trim, perforated Dinamica roof lining, and other elements are all reminiscent of the GT3 RS. In addition, a Classic Green colour scheme decorates the instrument cluster. The Porsche badge and "911 S/T" marking on the trunk are both finished in gold.
Porsche 911 S/T: Powertrain & Performance
At its core is a 4.0-litre flat-six petrol engine that generates 518bhp and 465Nm of peak torque, making this version a true powerhouse. The gearbox is a 6-speed manual with a shorter gear ratio than the 911 GT3. The car can reach a top speed of 300 km/h and can accelerate from 0 to 100km/h in under 3.7 seconds.

Because it lacks rear-axle steering, is constructed mostly out of carbon fibre-reinforced plastic (CFRP), and has less soundproofing, the Porsche 911 S/T is also the lightest of the 992-generation 911s. Lightweight glass, magnesium wheels, a lithium-ion starting battery, and carbon-ceramic brakes are just some of the standard features of the new model. These reductions allow the 911 S/T to have a kerb weight of just 1,380kg, which is 40kg less than the 911 GT3 Touring manual and 70kg less than the Porsche 911 GT3 RS.
