Renault's new HORSE Engine to debut in Duster-Based Dacia Bigster Hybrid
Dacia’s flagship model, the Bigster Hybrid 155, will be powered by a hybrid system developed by HORSE. Its 1.8-litre, four-cylinder engine delivers up to 107bhp, combining fuel efficiency with strong performance.
The Dacia Bigster Hybrid 155, expected to launch in India as the Renault Duster, will come with a hybrid powertrain developed by HORSE. It combines a 1.8-liter engine, two electric motors, and a smart, efficient gearbox. The Duster and Bigster will share many key components, such as body panels, the dashboard, seats, and other mechanical parts. With a focus on comfort, space, and versatility, the Duster is aimed at Indian families seeking a practical, reliable, and capable SUV for both city and long-distance driving.
Renault Bigster: Exterior
The Dacia Bigster blends a sleek design with a strong off-road look. Its front resembles the Duster, with sharp LED headlights featuring Y-shaped accents. Unlike the Duster, it has a cleaner look by removing the lower grille's plastic cladding. Fog lights are built into the bumper, and a silver skid plate adds to its rugged appearance.

Turn indicators are in the side mirrors, and the rear door handles are on the C-pillar. Silver roof rails and an optional black roof add style and versatility. At the rear, V-shaped LED tail lights, "Dacia" lettering, a carbon-fibre strip, and a sturdy bumper with a lighter skid plate complete the bold design.
Renault Bigster: Interior and Features
The Dacia Bigster features a modern, eco-friendly interior with a stylish grey and black dual-tone design. Similar to the Duster, it has a 10.1-inch touchscreen and a 10-inch digital instrument cluster focused on the driver. Comfort is boosted by a premium sound system, panoramic sunroof, and dual-zone climate control.

Safety features include multiple airbags, a rear parking camera, and advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS) like automatic emergency braking and adaptive cruise control.
