For its flagship luxury SUV, Jeep India is giving away discounts and benefits totalling Rs 11.85 lakh in December. Meanwhile, Mahindra is offering its electrified XUV400 with benefits worth up to Rs 4.2 lakh.
In an effort to clear out their current inventory and prepare for the next year, automakers have begun offering their yearly year-end discounts as the current year draws to a close. Enticing discounts and exchange offers on their model range have been rolled out by companies such as Maruti Suzuki, Hyundai, Mahindra, Volkswagen, and more. If you've been considering buying a car, now is a great opportunity to do it because of these benefits and the approaching price increase in January. However, keep in mind that available discounts may differ depending on region, dealership, version, and colour options, among other factors. Furthermore, these discounts are valid until December 31, 2023.

Jeep Grand Cherokee
For its flagship luxury SUV, Jeep India is giving away discounts and benefits totalling Rs 11.85 lakh in December. The Grand Cherokee, priced at Rs 80.50 lakh (ex-showroom) is available with a 2.0-litre turbocharged petrol engine. The same unit is used in both Wrangler and Rubicon models as well. This engine cranks out 268bhp of maximum power and 400Nm of peak torque. Standard features include an 8-speed torque converter automatic transmission and 4-wheel drive. The SUV has a robust look thanks to its machine-cut 20-inch alloy wheels, body cladding, and squared-off wheel arches. The rear end features sleek LED taillights and a windscreen with chrome accents. It has a Jeep insignia and a seven-slat grille on the front end.
On the feature front, the SUV comes standard with a 10.2-inch touchscreen infotainment system that supports Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. It also boasts a digital instrument console, a separate digital display for the front passenger, a panoramic sunroof, and perforated Capri leather seats. A surround-view camera, active noise cancellation, ambient lighting, ventilated seats, a 9-speaker sound system, and other significant amenities are included. The model is further packed with safety features such as TCS, ESC, 8 airbags, a tyre pressure monitoring system (TPMS), terrain response modes, ABS with EBD, Hill Start Assist, and ADAS.
Volkswagen Tiguan
In addition to cash and exchange incentives of up to Rs 75,000 each, limited units of Volkswagen Tiguan SUV are eligible for a corporate discount of Rs 1 lakh. It also receives special benefits of up to Rs 84,000 and a 4-year service value package (SVP) worth Rs 85,999. Hence, there is currently a total discount of up to Rs 4.2 lakh on the Tiguan for December. The model carries an ex-showroom price tag of Rs 35.17 lakh.
Regarding the SUV's mechanical specifications, it has a 2.0-litre turbocharged petrol engine and a 7-speed DSG automatic transmission with all-wheel drive. The engine produces 320Nm of maximum torque and 187bhp of peak power. The Tiguan's ARAI-certified fuel efficiency has increased to 13.54km/l (from 12.65km/l) as a result of the implementation of BS6 Phase II requirements. The car has a muscular bumper and a large radiator grille that is enhanced by LED matrix headlights. It also boasts R18 'Frankfurt' alloy wheels and dark LED combination taillights on the rear end. In terms of exterior paint job, the SUV is available in eye-catching tones such as Deep Black, Oryx White, Dolphin Grey, Nightshade Blue, and Reflex Silver.

Mahindra XUV400
This December, Mahindra is offering its electrified XUV400 with benefits worth up to Rs 4.2 lakh. The EV has a pricing range starting at Rs 15.99 lakh and going up to Rs 19.39 lakh. Both mentioned figures are ex-showroom. With two different battery configurations, the XUV400 can produce 150bhp of maximum power. The EL model has a larger 39.4kWh battery with a stated driving range of 456-kilometre, whereas the EC variant, according to MIDC, has a smaller 34.5kWh battery with a driving range of 375-kilometre.
A 7.0-inch touchscreen infotainment system with over 50 connected car features, a boot lamp, cruise control, an auto-dimming rearview mirror, hill-hold assist, a tyre pressure monitoring system, fog lamps, a rearview camera, 6 airbags, an electronic stability program (ESP), and a pair of tweeters with a 4-speaker audio system are among the features of the electric vehicle.
