The top-spec ZX and ZX(O) hybrid variants of the Toyota Innova Hycross are now priced at Rs 30.34 lakh and Rs 30.98 lakh, respectively. The Bookings are underway for a token amount of Rs 50,000.
Toyota has officially reopened orders for the top-spec ZX and ZX(O) hybrid variants of the Innova Hycross. The MPV can be booked for a token amount of Rs 50,000; however, Toyota has not specified when deliveries are scheduled to commence. The reopening of bookings comes with a hike in price, given the fact that the company had announced a price of 1 per cent across certain variants of specific models. As a result, the Innova Hycross ZX and the ZX(O) are now priced at Rs 30.34 lakh and Rs 30.98 lakh, respectively, reflecting an increase of Rs 30,000. Meanwhile, the entry-level Innova Hycross Hybrid VX asks for Rs 25.97 lakh. This is Toyota's second price hike for the Innova Hycross, ranging from Rs 25,000 to Rs 30,000, depending on the variant selected. Notably, the prices of the non-hybrid variants of the MPV remain the same, retailing between Rs 19.77 lakh and Rs 19.82 lakh. All mentioned prices are ex-showroom.
In April 2023, Toyota temporarily suspended the bookings for the ZX and ZX(O) variants due to the difficulties in the supply chain (global semiconductor shortage), making it difficult for the company to deliver to the overwhelming response for the product. However, the lower-spec naturally aspirated variants and the mid-spec hybrid variants remained on sale.
Toyota Innova Hycross: Engine
Under the hood, the Toyota Innova Hycross gets a 2.0-litre, four-cylinder, naturally aspirated petrol engine and a 2.0-litre, four-cylinder strong-hybrid setup. The former belts out 173bhp, whereas the latter makes 182bhp, both mated to front-wheel drive and CVT.
Toyota Innova Hycross: New GX (O) Variant Launch Soon
The Innova Hycross will soon have a new top-spec non-hybrid variant in its lineup. It will be called the GX (O). Although the launch date is not known, market reports indicate that it will go on sale in the first week of April. Bookings for the new variant can be made through Toyota's official India website for a token amount of Rs 50,000. The new GX(O) non-hybrid will slot between the petrol-only GX grade and the powerful hybrid VX trim levels and will get a 2.0-litre naturally aspirated petrol mill mated to a CVT automatic transmission.
In comparison to the existing GX model, the upcoming GX(O) will offer a slew of additional features such as front LED fog lamps, a larger 10.1-inch touchscreen infotainment panel, automatic climate control with an auto blower, and a 360-degree camera. Although the firm has yet to disclose the price of the Innova Hycross GX(O), expect it to retail at Rs 21 lakh (ex-showroom). As of now, the premium MPV comes in GX, VX, VX(O), ZX, and ZX(O) trim levels.
