Hero Vida V1 Pro: Price and Competition Check
Priced at Rs 1.26 lakh (ex-showroom), the top-of-the-line Vida V1 Pro is more expensive than the V1 Plus, which costs Rs 97,800 (ex-showroom). It is important to note that these price tags are inclusive of the subsidy.
In the Indian two-wheeler EV market, the Vida V1 Pro faces off against the TVS iQube, the Ola S1 Pro, the Bajaj Chetak, and the Ather 450X. The electrified Vida is sold through the new Hero Premia showrooms.
Hero Vida Electric Dirt Bike
Recently, the Indian manufacturer showcased an electric dirt bike under the Vida brand at the first-ever Bharat Mobility Expo. Its flat seat, tall front fender, and spoked wheels on both ends—the front being larger than the rear—give it a dirt bike-esque appearance. Both wheels come with off-road tyres. Other elements include wide handlebars, a compact rear portion, a visible bash plate, and 'Vida' branding on the sides.
The battery pack, however, is concealed within the main frame. Disk brakes on both ends handle breaking, while chunky upside-down forks up front and a monoshock on the rear make up the dirt bike's hardware suspension arrangement. Whether or not this Hero Vida dirt bike will be offered for sale as a road-legal motorcycle is still up in the air.
