Honda Shine 100 Crosses 3 Lakh Unit Sales Milestone Within A Year of Commencement in India
With more than 3 lakh samples of the Shine 100 sold to date, HMSI says it has witnessed incredible growth in the 100-110cc segment throughout FY2024.
The Shine 100, launched in March 2023, has marked a sales milestone for Honda Motorcycle and Scooter India (HMSI). It is said to have surpassed a 3 lakh-unit sales mark in the first year of sales and, to mark this significant milestone, HMSI recently organised mega-delivery events of its most affordable offering – the Shine 100 – in several cities across India.
With more than 3 lakh samples of the Shine 100 sold to date, HMSI says it has witnessed incredible growth in the 100-110cc segment throughout FY2024. The bike became a hit among many budget-conscious buyers, thanks to its simple build, steady performance, outstanding fuel efficiency, and attractive pricing. Further amplifying the customers' trust in the Shine 100 is HMSI's sales and service network. HMSI has now over 6,000 touchpoints in the country which cater to the demand from urban and rural areas alike.

Honda Shine 100: Price, Specifications
The Honda Shine 100 is on sale at Rs 64,900 (ex-showroom) in India. It comes in a single variant and five colour options – Black with Red, Black with Gold, Black with Blue, Black with Green, and Black with Grey.
Powering the Shine 100 is a 98.98cc BS6 engine, which makes 7.28bhp and 8.05Nm of peak torque. It uses a four-speed unit for transmission. Hardware-wise, it gets a telescopic front fork and dual rear shocks, while the braking system comprises a front and rear drum unit mounted on alloy wheels with road-biased tyres.
The commuter bike offers a long wheelbase (1,245mm) and high ground clearance (168mm). The features list includes a side-stand sensor, CBS (Combined Braking System), and a twin-pod instrument console with a speedometer, odometer, and fuel level readout.

At Rs 64,900 (ex-showroom, India), Honda's Shine 100 rivals the likes of the Hero Splendor Plus, the TVS Radeon, and the Bajaj Platina 100.
