Mahindra XUV700 Waiting Period Reaches 2 Months in India
The waiting period for the top-spec Mahindra XUV700 AX7 and AX7 L variants has now extended to just over two months, an increase from the previous 1.5 months.

Launched with a host of advanced features and impressive performance, the XUV700 has captured the attention of buyers looking for a blend of luxury and functionality. Its robust design, state-of-the-art technology, and safety features have made it a popular choice among Indian consumers. The price of the XUV700 starts at Rs 13.99 lakh and goes up to Rs 25.14 lakh. Both prices are ex-showroom figures. When it comes to market rivalry, it takes on the likes of the Hyundai Alcazar, Tata Harrier, MG Hector, and Tata Safari. Mahindra XUV700: Waiting Period
The waiting period for the top-spec XUV700 AX7 and AX7 L variants has now extended to just over two months, an increase from the previous 1.5 months. On the other hand, buyers can anticipate around a one-month wait for the delivery of other variants, including the base MX model and the mid-tier AX3, AX5, and AX5 Select options. These timelines apply to both petrol and diesel versions of the Mahindra model. It is worth mentioning that XUV700 variants featuring ESP and those configured with six seats do not have a specified waiting period.
Mahindra XUV700: Under the Hood
The Mahindra XUV700 offers two engine options: a 2.0-litre turbocharged petrol engine producing 197bhp and 380Nm of peak torque, and a 2.2-litre diesel engine, belting out 182bhp of maximum power and 450Nm of peak torque. Both engines can be paired with either a six-speed manual or automatic transmission. Some variants of the SUV also come with an all-wheel-drive system.

Mahindra XUV700: Feature Set
The higher-end variants of the XUV700 come equipped with features such as adaptive cruise control, ventilated seats, a wireless charger, a panoramic sunroof, and a 360-degree camera. They also include dual 10.24-inch displays – one for the infotainment system and another for the digital instrument cluster – along with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, multiple drive modes, a six-way power seat with memory function, push-button start, and dual-zone climate control.
Additionally, the XUV700 is packed with safety features like Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS), seven airbags, electronic stability control (ESC), an electronic park brake (EPB), and auto-booster headlights, contributing to its five-star rating in Global NCAP crash tests. Some models also feature all-wheel-drive technology, enhancing traction and control, which makes the XUV700 one of the safest vehicles in India.
