The bike surpassed one lakh unit sales in February 2023 and another one lakh units in the following five months. For those who don't know, it is the third model to be developed on the same J-Series platform as the Classic 350 and the Meteor 350. Last year in August, the Hunter 350 went on sale in two variants with prices starting at Rs 1.50 lakh for the Retro model and Rs 1.68 lakh for the Metro with Rebel colour option. Following a price hike in May 2023, the prices for the bike now range between Rs 1.50 lakh and Rs 1.75 lakh. All prices are ex-showroom. Royal Enfield Hunter 350: Mechanical Specs
The current version of the motorcycle keeps the 349cc air/oil-cooled engine, which produces 20.2bhp of maximum power at 6,100rpm and 27Nm of peak torque at 4,000rpm. This motor is coupled to a five-speed transmission. While the figures remain unchanged, the engine now meets E20 fuel regulations.
Royal Enfield Hunter 350: Dimensions
With a 1,370mm wheelbase compared to 1,390mm on the Classic and 1,400mm on the Meteor, the Hunter 350 is considerably more compact than RE's other 350cc models. It is also considerably lighter than the Meteor, which weighs 191kg, and the Classic, a 195kg motorcycle, although carrying a similar amount of fuel, at 178kg for the Retro variation and 181kg for the Metro version. The Hunter's seat height is also quite accessible at 800mm, making it more suitable for beginners altogether.
Royal Enfield Hunter 350: Styling Cues
The Hunter's appearance differs somewhat from conventional Royal Enfield models; here, we see a more fresh, contemporary motorcycle. Although the Hunter 350 bears more than a passing similarity to the Triumph Street Twin, it has enough distinguishing features to forge its own character and comes off as a very attractive neo-retro roadster.

While the Metro has alloy wheels, the Retro version of the Hunter 350 rides on wire-spoked wheels. The motorcycles are supported by twin shock absorbers in the back and telescopic fork suspension up front. Even the size of the tyres varies between the two variations. The Retro is available with 17-inch wheels fitted with tubed tyres measuring 100/80 up front and 120/80 down back. The 17-inch wheels of the Metro model are fitted with 110/70 front and 140/70 rear tyres. The Retro has a single-channel ABS rear drum brake for braking duties. The Metro, on the other hand, sports a 270mm rear disc brake and dual-channel ABS.
In terms of features, the Hunter 350 is distinguished by its teardrop-shaped fuel tank, instrument console, short exhaust, grab rails, tail light, indicators, and round headlight. Additionally, options like crash guards, a passenger backrest, bar-end mirrors, different seats are also available.
